Fringe Star Lance Reddick Disses First Season

Fringe star and possibly the most serious dude in the whole world Lance Reddick, who plays boss man Boyles in the hit sci-fi TV show Fringe has revealed that the first season of Fringe wasn’t true to creator JJ Abram’s vision for the show…

Talking to SciFi Now, the former star of Lost and The Wire revealed…

“The show changed gears and that was very deliberate. Because, honestly, the procedural element of it wasn’t working. Procedurals, from what I understand, tend to do better in syndication. But in terms of J.J.’s plan and what he’s great at, it’s telling a serialised story.”

Reddick went on to promise that the upcoming third season will reveal more about the personal life of his somewhat mysterious character.

Fringe is back on our TV screens on September 23rd.
