It seems that the Ghost Rider sequel is gearing up for production.

Expected to begin filming this fall in Romania, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance will once again see Nicolas Cage reprise the role of Johnny Blaze.

Interestingly, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance will be the first major Hollywood movie since 2002’s Cold Mountain to be shot in Romania.

Ghost Rider 2 will be directed by filmmakers Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor and yes, like every movie these days which has at least one special effect shot, it will be filmed in 3D.

At this moment in time no release dates or casting details have been announced but you can expect that to change pretty damn soon if production is really due to start in the next couple of months.
