Stallone Wants Bruce Willis To Be Expendables 2 Bad Guy
Hollywood legend and star/director/writer of The Expendables; Sylvester Stallone has revealed that he has already come up with a plot for The Expendables 2, while producer Avi Lerner has expressed his excitement at the thought of making a sequel to this year’s summer blockbuster. Lerner, in an interview with Upbeat said…
“We all want to do it, we are already working on it and I’m ready to go. Everyone had such a great time making this. I have done over 350 movies in my life and this is definitely the biggest.”
As for the plot for The Expendables 2, Stallone isn’t ready to talk in detail about that just yet but he did tweet recently that he wants Bruce Willis to be the sequel’s main villain…
“Had dinner with Bruce Willis last night. I want him in EXPENDABLES II as a super villain. What do you think (sic)?”
As for the rest of the cast who knows? Stallone pulled off some serious Hollywood magic when he managed to persuade Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Terry Crews, Mickey Rourke, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis to all appear together on screen so the question is does he have any magic left to top the original cast?
UK Tabloid the Sun says that a Hollywood insider has told them that Stallone is talking with everyone from The Rock to Hulk Hogan…
“Sly has been told to get Expendables 2 underway as soon as possible. He already has a script underway and all the cast want to come back. But he’s also working on some new recruits including his old Rocky pals Mr T, Carl Weathers and Hulk Hogan as well as VIN DIESEL and DWAYNE ‘THE ROCK’ JOHNSON. Even Jean Claude Vann Damme is ready to sign up after turning down Sly first time.”
Next time around, Stallone has promised to do something radical for The Expendables 2…
“I have an idea ready to go. People think doing a sequel is easy, but it’s not because you need the element of surprise. I’m going to try and do something that’s quite radical.”
Radical eh? A musical perhaps?
