Rafael Nadal and the missing U.S. Open title
Rafael Nadal has achieved many things in professional tennis. He surpassed Roger Federer in the world rankings and even proved that he can play well on grass by winning his second Wimbledon title this year. However, there is one major title missing on his track record and Nadal intends on filling that void by claiming the 2010 U.S. Open title.
However, the Mallorcan for some reason always seems to have trouble giving it 100% on the fast hard-court in New York. He often appeared to be worn out after the first couple of rounds and his knees too often let him down as the event progressed to its final phase.
But according to Nadal, this year the situation is a little bit different. He is well rested and mentally prepared, he’s won five tournaments this year including the French Open and Wimbledon and therefore ready to attack.
