Monday is the day that Roger Clemens, former baseball star, is scheduled to be arraigned in federal court. Clemens has insisted that performance-enhancing drugs have never been used to improve his baseball game.

The proceeding will take place in Washington, D.C. at 2:00 PM EST. The retired baseball great told a House of Representatives committee that he was never a user of these forbidden drugs. As a result, the charges Clemens is facing include obstruction of Congress, perjury and making false statements. He faces six felony charges in all.

It is expected that the Cy Young award winner seven times over will plead not guilty. He took to Twitter to relay his feelings about the case: “I never took HGH or Steroids. And I did not lie to Congress. I look forward to challenging the Governments accusations, and hope people will keep an open mind until trial. I appreciate all the support I have been getting. I am happy to finally have my day in court.”
