Former James Bond and Hollywood legend Sean Connery has revealed that he will probably never act again. The 80 year old actor who played the iconic James Bond for seven movies confided to Bang Showbiz that he doesn’t think he will ever step in front of a movie camera again…

“I don’t think I’ll ever act again. I have so many wonderful memories but these days are over.”

In the same interview, the Scottish icon was asked what his favourite Bond movie was…

“From Russia With Love was my absolute favourite. The story was intriguing and the locations were intriguing. It was an international movie in every sense of the word.”

Connery last appeared in cinemas as Allan Quartermain in Stephen Norrington’s fun comic book adaptation The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen back in 2003.

His next and final project is Sascha Hartmann’s animated Sir Billi which sees Connery provide the voice of Sir Billi, a retired vet living in Scotland who meets a goat who thinks he is a dog and a beaver who was raised by rabbits. Sir Billi is currently in post production.
