“The Last Exorcism” hits theaters
This fictional documentary horror film does serve up moments of sheer terror. But, in between there horror-filled moments are some truly silly ones as well. The story follows Cotton Marcus (played by Patrick Fabian) who is an evangelist, and a con man (not really a stretch). He brings a camera crew with him to a home in rural Louisiana with the intention of documenting the made up exorcism of the possessed daughter (played by Ashley Bell) of a farmer who happens to be a fundamentalist (played by Louis Herthum). In true form, Marcus encounters more than he bargained for. The aim of the film is to give the audience more than just the typical blood…
