Caroline Wozniacki in 2010 Pilot Pen Final
Caroline Wozniacki reached her third consecutive final at the 2010 Pilot Pen tennis tournament. The 2010 U.S. Open top seed had to fight hard to prevail over her Russian opponent Elena Dementieva, eventually beating her in three sets with 1-6, 6-3 and 7-5. Wozniacki now holds a 12-0 record at the Pilot Pen. Dementieva on the other hand, reached the semis a total of four times but never made it into the finals. Yesterday though, she seemed to finally break her streak by taking an early lead in the first set, breaking Wozniacki twice. But the Danish tennis star was ready to turn tables in the second set. In the deciding third, Dementieva again found…
James Bond Signs Up For Chuck
As far as acting goes, Timothy Dalton has had a lean couple of years of late. In fact in the last three years the former James Bond has only appeared in two movies; (physically he appeared in only one of them) Hot Fuzz and Toy Story 3. He popped up as a bad guy in Doctor Who for two episodes last year and showed his face in the failed TV show Unknown Sender for an episode back in 2008. I don’t know why his workload has been so light these past few years but as the dude is 66 I’ll give him a break. Well, it seems that Dalton is ready to go back to…
Next Mission Impossible Movie Will Not Be Called Mission Impossible
There’s been a lot of activity on the Mission Impossible 4 production lately. First we found out that Pixar director Brad Bird would be, um, directing and then there was the whole will he/won’t he return in regards to Tom Cruise reprising the role of Ethan Hunt. Next we received news that Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg would be returning while finally we got word that Hurt Locker star Jeremy Renner had signed up the project. Well, now we’re being told that Mission Impossible 4 won’t be called Mission Impossible 4, instead the studio is opting for a name more along the lines of The Dark Knight. (which was really Batman 2) Thing is, The…

Bulletproof Monk Writers To Script Karate Kid 2
The sequel to this year’s smash hit remake The Karate Kid, which starred Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith has been given the greenlight. To date The Karate Kid has grossed nearly 300 million dollars worldwide so it makes sense then that we would be getting a sequel. At this moment in time it is unclear if director Harald Zwart will return to helm the sequel or indeed if Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan will return (though you have got to assume that both actors signed up for multiple sequels) What we do know is who will write the script, or at least who will be writing the first draft. That honour actually falls to two…
