Acclaim Is Dead Again

We’re a bit late on this one but I stumbled upon the news this morning that former video game publisher Acclaim has closed down…again. The company first went bankrupt back in 2004 but was then re-opened when Howard Marks, the former CEO of Activision bought the rights to the name and changed it slightly to Acclaim Games, then he started a new company which focused on a series of online-based games and then, earlier this year, Playdom bought Acclaim Games.
