Metroid Other M Is Not The Game We Were Looking For

One of Nintendo’s big video game releases of the year Metroid: Other M seems to have polarized reviewers. Previews of the game suggested that the final code would be a triple A title but after playing through the game in its entirety, reviewers for the biggest video game websites have handed in barely above average review scores. Who sparkled at the Emmys?

Aside from the Emmy statue itself, there couldn’t be an awards show without a look into who wore the best fashion. Every year there are winners and losers alike in the fashion category. Who wore it best this year? Many of those walking the red carpet this year played it safe and wore ordinary fashion so as not to be singled out. Horror scores at the box office

With the summer coming to a close, horror made a debut at the box office. And, a big debut it was. “The Last Exorcism” took the top honors over the weekend raking in an estimated $21.3 million. The Eli Roth scary movie edged out “Takers” which demonstrated a solid opening. There was a narrow margin of $300,000 difference between the two top movies with the heist thriller opening to a $21 million gross. “The Expendables” fell to third place over the weekend after leading the box office for the past two weeks. Lots of winners at the Emmys

Jimmy Falon hosted the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards show celebrating top honors for television last night with glowing reviews. His first time hosting the show went well for the late-night talk show host and comedian. Most of the awards handed out last night went to new shows and those who have not won the honor before.  Although “Glee” was expected to win outstanding comedy show, they had to step aside for “Modern Family” which took those top honors and won six out of the 14 nominations they received. Dyed dogs – the latest trend in China

Dog owners in China have taken to a new trend – dying their dogs. Dogs with dye jobs are becoming an increasingly popular site on the streets of China. Trendy pet owners are dying their dogs to look like everything from panda bears to tigers to teenage mutant ninja turtles. One dog owner whose dog was dyed to resemble a panda bear told reporters: “I think he loves it. Since he’s been dyed, he gets lots of love and attention.” Dying your dog may be a fun trend, but is it safe for your beloved pet?
