Monday is the day that Roger Clemens, former baseball star, is scheduled to be arraigned in federal court. Clemens has insisted that performance-enhancing drugs have never been used to improve his baseball game. The proceeding will take place in Washington, D.C. at 2:00 PM EST. The retired baseball great told a House of Representatives committee that he was never a user of these forbidden drugs. As a result, the charges Clemens is facing include obstruction of Congress, perjury and making false statements. He faces six felony charges in all. BP taking steps to permanently seal well

BP is taking steps on Monday to begin a permanent seal for the damaged well that spilled oil into the Gulf of Mexico for over 100 days. Since temporarily plugging the well over three weeks ago with mud and cement, the well has ceased to leak oil.
