In a telephone interview while riding in a car through New York City, Roger Federer shared his optimistic outlook on the 2010 U.S. Open. Since 2004, the Swiss tennis star has reached every men’s final in Flushing Meadows. According to Federer, his confidence was high in the past few years, but he doesn’t feel any less confident this year, despite the strong competition. Paul Annacone to coach Roger Federer at 2010 U.S. Open
On Saturday, the Swiss tennis star Roger Federer announced that he will work with Pete Sampras’ former coach Paul Annacone during the 2010 U.S. Open. On his website Federer stated that he and Annacone started to spend time together about a month ago to find out whether they would make a good fit. So at this point in time, the project has evolved from a test trial into making Annacone an integral part of the team.
