In a episode of the TV series Shaq vs. basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal lost a game of basketball to teen pop sensation Justin Bieber.

Yep, the 7ft NBA All-Star, despite towering over the 16 year old pop star and having the advantage of playing on his home court lost a one-on-one battle with the Canadian singer.

The matchup was filmed for Shaq’s TV show in which he challenges celebrities to various showdowns. For the Bieber episode, Shaq squared off against Bieber in a dance-off, a ‘who can stay underwater the longest’ contest, a bowling face-off and the aforementioned basketball match.

The show culminated with the 38 year old Shaq joining Bieber on stage for a concert in Florida.

Previous episodes have seen Shaq challenge American Footballer Ben Roethlisberger, baseball star Albert Pujols, boxing icon Oscar De La Hoya, Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, Nascar driver Dale Earnhardt Jr, Las Vegas magicians Penn & Teller and sprinter Tyson Gay.
