Sigourney Weaver Talks About Ghostbusters 3
Earlier in the year Hollywood actress Sigourney Weaver didn’t seem interested in getting involved in the proposed third movie in the Ghostbusters franchise Ghostbusters 3.
Well, during a press junket for her new comedy You Again, the 60 year old actress revealed that she has been approached about a possible appearance in the sequel but managed to duck out of confirming whether or not she had agreed to reprise her role as Bill Murray love-interest Dana Barrett…
“I’ve also been contacted. All I said was I really think my little boy Oscar, who went through that traumatic kidnapping, should be a Ghostbuster. So I think that might happen.”
Weaver went on to talk about Oscar, her baby boy from Ghostbusters 2 who would be in his early twenties right now and surely feature in any new Ghostbusters movie…
“He would be grown up, and he’d be like Zach Galifianakis.”
And finally, Weaver revealed that director Ivan Reitman was actively working on a script for the movie…
“They’re working on the script. Ivan knows what he’s doing, so let him work on the script.”
I’ve got a funny feeling that Michael Cera is going to turn out to be Oscar…

Last December 2009 when Sigourney Weaver was talking about her new movie Avatar she said that there sending her the GB3 script and Sigourney’s back in Ghostbusters 3. I’m Very Happy about that because Sigourney is my #1 Favorite Actress and she was Awesome in the first 2 Gb Movies and she’ll be Awesome in the third GB Movie. It’s been Confirmed that Sigourney’s in GB3 and Rick is in talks to come out of retirement to joing his GB pals! No word on Annie Potts. I’m hoping that she’ll be in it as well! The Original GB’s are in GB3 Including Bill Murray. Michael Cera changed his mind about playing Osacr in GB3 but if Sigourney said that well Michael might play Oscar after all! We have to see because Sigourney knows that GB3 is Happening because Everybody confirmed that! I Can’t wait!
