The 2010 U.S. Open second round match between Novak Djokovic and the German Philipp Petzschner was interrupted when all of a sudden a loud scream was heard from the upper deck.

Apparently, a bunch of spectators ended up in a boxing match which caused quite a commotion. Security took care of the situation and ushered some of the individuals out of the stadium.

Novak Djokovic only needed three sets to defeat the 52nd-ranked Pretzschner with 7-5, 6-3, 7-6 (6). The German kept the match open for a long time, playing rather usual tennis incorporating well disguised drop shots and mixing up slow backhand slices with hard-hitting forehand swings.

Djokovic, 3rd-seeded, managed to keep the upper-hand, opening up the court by playing Pretschner deep into the corners. The Serb lost in the 2007 Open final and semis of the two following years to Roger Federer. He is now scheduled to play the American James Blake.
