Wesley Crusher To Return To Big Bang Theory
The Big Bang Theory producer Bill Prady has revealed that former Star Trek star Will Wheaton will return to the show after appearing on the hit sitcom twice already.
Wheaton will reprise his role as the nemesis to Big Bang’s Sheldon Cooper who is played by Jim Parson.
Sheldon and Wheaton have faced off before. The first time saw the pair going head to head in a Dungeons and Dragons type card game while the second time they met they took their feud to a ten-pin bowling alley.
According to Prady, their next encounter will be a take on “minor celebrities cutting in line” which as fans of the show will know, will wind up Sheldon considerably. Here’s how Prady explains it…
“We started talking about the idea of minor celebrities cutting in line and we thought it might be funny to have our [Big Bang] guys waiting in line for a one-time-only midnight screening of something like Raiders of the Lost Ark with restored footage, and Wil Wheaton and his three friends cut the line. When it comes time for our guys to get in, the line stops; Wil took the last four seats and Sheldon is just furious. Because it doesn’t make sense to him.”
The Big Bang Theory will return to our TV screens on September 23rd with the season premiere The Robotic Manipulation.
