Gavin Henson And Bruce Forsyth Talk Strictly Come Dancing Season Eight
Strictly Come Dancing host Bruce Forsyth and contestant Gavin Henson have been talking about the upcoming eighth season of BBC’s hit dancing show. In particular, Henson, an international rugby star expressed his concern that he wouldn’t be able to control himself if he performs a racy dance routine with his dance partner. When asked by the BBC One Show what his greatest fear is, the Welsh rugby star answered…
“Getting aroused when I’m dancing close to my dance partner.”
Bruce Forsyth meanwhile has revealed that he is looking forward to the new series as this year he doesn’t have to hang around for the Sunday results show after being replaced by It Takes Two host Claudia Winkleman…
“It’s a 12-hour show and I don’t know any other TV presenters who do a show like Strictly, where it stops and you have another two-hour show for the results programme. We were trying to think of a different way of making it easier. It was the BBC who came forward with this idea and asked if it would make a difference if I didn’t have the results programme. I thought immediately, ‘My goodness, yes it will make a difference’. It means I will finish about 9pm, get home in time for Match Of The Day and it turns my 12-hour day into a 10-hour day, which is much more manageable. I am going to feel very different on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I am sure this is going to make a massive difference.”
Strictly Come Dancing season eight begins this Saturday at 6.25pm on BBC One.
