UK TV presenter and star of the upcoming Arthur remake; Russell Brand has expressed his joy at having found love with his fiancé pop star Katy Perry and claims that the pair have an “incredibly ordinary relationship”. In an interview with The Sunday Times, Brand also revealed that he doesn’t see a problem with being in a monogamous relationship because he only has eyes for Perry…

“She doesn’t have to control me. I have nothing to hide. I have nothing to give you except love and joy! It’s an honour to have found someone that I care about so much, it’s just not an issue. I just want to be with her. We have an incredibly ordinary relationship and take the p*ss out of each other. We see each other as much as we can and it’s sort of enough. Sort of.”

Brand also talked about the intense feelings that he and Perry shared from the moment they met each other…

“It was like a collision with God, as in, ‘Oh my God, there is love, there is nothing but love, in the same way that saying goodbye is a foreshadowing of death. because, oh my God, one day, I’ll say goodbye to everything. In the same way that falling in love is a precedent to beauty and birth, and we are all beautiful and all of us have a capacity to love another.”
