Most of us know how it feels to go back to the locker room after a loss. And that’s exactly what soccer star David Beckham did after his team, L.A. Galaxy, lost with 2-0 to the New York Red Bulls last Friday night.

A fan tried to be funny and yelled at Beckham to “stop with the prostitutes”. This was a reference to statements made by a female located in New York that Beckham had paid her for her “services”. The claims are unsubstantiated; however, they were embraced by the media for obvious reasons.

As Beckham heard the fan’s comment, he turned around and walked straight up to him, asking him to repeat what he just said. After a couple of verbal statements that didn’t pass the censoring guidelines, he headed back to the locker room, visibly angry about the incident.

Beckham served the tabloid who made the allegations with lawsuit totaling more than $25 million.
