The “Ghost Whisperer” to appear on “Law and Order” tonight
The star of CBS’ popular show the “Ghost Whisperer,” Jennifer Love Hewitt, will appear in tonight’s episode of “Law and Order: SVU” premiering on NBC.
Hewitt will portray a victim who has been raped multiple times. According to The Toronto Sun, Hewitt said the appearance has forever changed her, “I don’t think I will ever act the same way. It was like something in my heart and my soul just connected on a different level. It was extraordinary. I felt really honored that they thought I could tackle a subject matter like this and a character like this.”
To make the character more believable, the 31-year-old actress also had to make some changes to her physical appearance. When Hewitt saw herself in character she said, “I was like, ‘Gosh, I don’t know who that actress is at all’. But it really allowed me emotionally and physically and mentally to go to a different place.”
