Real Life Iron Man Suit – Coming To A Military Near You

If you ever wanted to say to your friends “I am Iron Man” and mean it, the opportunity may not be too far away. Defense contractor Raytheon Sarcos revealed today images of their real life iron man suit, the XOS 2 wearable exoskeleton.    The suit is designed for military use and is estimated to be deployed in about 5 years.   The iron man suit, or XOS2, will make what once seemed impossible, possible. The ability to lift roughly 150 to 200 pounds repeatedly without feeling fatigued or to be able to punch through four wood boards in one swift punch would certainly make things a little easier in war zones.     According to…

Breaking news for all you coffee addicts out there, today, September 29th is National Coffee Day.  For most of us having a cup of coffee in the morning is a must have. It is an essential part of our morning ritual. So much in fact that in a recent study conducted by Dunkin’ Donuts and Career Builder they found that 2 out of 5 Americans say they are not as productive if they don’t have coffee. Those between the ages of 18 and 24 admitted they just cannot concentrate without coffee. And 37 percent of the American workforce drinks 2 or more cups of coffee during their work day. Oprah to reunite the cast of “The Sound of Music”

During the “Oprah Winfrey Show’s” final season, many surprises and fulfillment of dreams are in the works. The most recent announcement involves a reunion of the cast of “The Sound of Music.” According to a statement, the October 29, 2010 show will feature cast members, Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer, Charmaian Carr (Liesl), Nicholas Hammond (Friedrich), Heather Menzies-Urich (Louisa), Duane Chase (Kurt), Angela Cartwright (Brigitta), Debbie Turner (Marta) and Kym Karath (Gretl). Kenny McKinley depression over injury led to suicide

Robert Bailey, who as a defensive back for six teams over the course of 11 years, recalls the lack of assistance sought by players in trouble, “In all my time playing and in 10 years of working with players since I retired, I can’t remember one guy, not one, who asked for help.” Authorities believe that McKinley committed suicide by inflicting a fatal gunshot wound to his head because he was suffering from depression. The “Ghost Whisperer” to appear on “Law and Order” tonight

The star of CBS’ popular show the “Ghost Whisperer,” Jennifer Love Hewitt, will appear in tonight’s episode of “Law and Order: SVU” premiering on NBC. Hewitt will portray a victim who has been raped multiple times. According to The Toronto Sun, Hewitt said the appearance has forever changed her, “I don’t think I will ever act the same way. It was like something in my heart and my soul just connected on a different level. It was extraordinary.
