Well known film editor found dead
Sally Menke, film editor for Quentin Tarantino, was found dead early Tuesday morning on a hiking trail in Los Angeles’ Griffith Park. According to police, the exact cause of death is not yet known, but the 57-year-old had been hiking with a friend on the hottest day ever recorded in Los Angeles. The weather service said that temperatures hit 113 degrees on Monday afternoon. Menke and the friend that she had been hiking with were separated. Lindsay Lohan in rehab
A source close to the troubled actress said that Lindsay Lohan has voluntarily entered a substance abuse center. The specific program has not been revealed. The decision to check herself into a rehab program came after a judge in Los Angeles ordered that Lohan be sent to jail with no bail after she failed a court ordered drug test. But, instead of spending 30days in jail, another judge allowed her to be released on bail after only 14 hours. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine, President Obama called the cable news outlet, Fox News “destructive to [America’s] long-term growth.” The President likened the cable news channel to publications available at the turn of the 20th century such as those owned by William Randolph Hearst. Former United States President, Jimmy Carter has been hospitalized in Cleveland, Ohio. According to Jackie Mayo, a spokesperson for the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, he was on an inbound flight when he began to experience an unknown health issue.
