Cheryl Cole Not Ashamed Of Failed Marriage
X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole has revealed that she is in no rush to get rid of the “Mrs C” tattoo on her neck and by the sounds of things, also has no intention of changing her name following her divorce from English footballer Ashley Cole.
In fact, instead of being bitter about her time with the football ace, Cheryl Cole claims she has no regrets and that her turbulent marriage kind of made her who she is today.
Talking to The Guardian newspaper, the pop singer said…
“No, I’m not ashamed of anything. I’ve got nothing to rub away…I don’t feel sentimental about the name. I’m not ashamed of my marriage, it’s a period in my life, and I am Cheryl Cole. That’s how I feel. We’ve been divorced. That’s a pretty big ending. Maybe we can be friends one day.”
In an separate interview with The Sun, Cole talked about her new tattoo on her leg and said it represents the new direction her life has taken.
“The tattoo is part of that. It marks a new chapter in my life. It’s flowers, it’s a real piece of art, it’s in a nice part of my body, it’s a gorgeous tattoo. It was a proper artist. We sat down together and designed it properly. It’s a new chapter – it’s got to be.”
