It seems that everywhere you turn these past couple of weeks you bump into someone talking about the addictive Iphone game Angry Birds.

It is safe to say that the Angry Birds have taken the world by storm so it is no surprise then that Angry Birds developer Rovio have announced that they will be releasing a brand new range of plush toys based on the hit mobile game.

At this moment in time, Rovio have stopped short of revealing the exact details of when they will hit retail but the smart money is that they are due to fling themselves into our living rooms/bedrooms this side of the holiday season.

You can already buy Angry Birds T-Shirts which can set you back upwards of twenty bucks (excluding delivery of course) so like I said earlier, it should come as no surprise that we’re getting toys as well.

It looks like the Angry Birds are turning into a proper franchise yet for some reason I’m getting a crazy frog vibe…
