Pop diva Celine Dion was celebrating this past Saturday after giving birth to twin boys. Dion and her husband/manager Rene Angelil have had to endure a long and difficult struggle in order to realize their dream of being parents again.

The twins were delivered at St Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla and a statement issued by the hospital said that the 42-year olds’ two boys weighed five pounds, ten ounces and five pounds four ounces.

At this moment in time Celine Dion and her husband have yet to announce the names of their twin boys.

Dion wasn’t due to give birth until next month. Over the past year or so Dion has been very public about her struggle to conceive and defended her public position on the issue by revealing that she hoped that documenting her troubles would help out other people who are going through the same thing…

“If I help people through my voice, through my interviews, through what I go through, I do not want to change that at all. I think it’s making a difference.”
