Taylor Swift Used Song Writing To Combat Loneliness
Singing sensation Taylor Swift has revealed that she was so lonely as a teenager that the only thing she could do to block out the loneliness was to write songs.
In an interview with MTV, Swift revealed that she turned to writing songs because she didn’t have any friends to turn to. She added that she begun song writing when she was just 12 years old…
“I turned to song writing because I didn’t really have anybody else to talk to. I was going through a very lonely phase at school, which a lot of kids do. It’s just when you’re going through it you feel like you’re the only one going through it. I changed a lot over the course of my life, and having written songs since I was 12, your perspective changes. But I think part of growing up is realising that you’ll never change, but you’ll never stay the same either.”
