Tickets For Take That Robbie Williams Tour In High Demand

According to Ticketmaster, demand for tickets for Take That’s upcoming tour is double what the demand was when Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’ tickets went on sale.

The upcoming tour is Take That’s first as a five-piece in sixteen years and tickets went on sale at 9am yesterday morning.

The demand is so great that Ticketmaster had to issue a statement yesterday detailing the problems that fans are having trying to secure their tickets and confirmed that the UK telephone network is struggling to keep up…

“The knock-on effect is also creating problems for the UK telephone network – it’s been confirmed that it’s also straining to cope and that call volume is at least twice that of the Michael Jackson sales last March”.

On the Take That Facebook page, fans have resorted to posting the experiences of their difficulties in getting tickets with one fan revealing that the website had crashed as she was about to process her order…

“dnt get it….I WANT 2 BUY THESE TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!! I DNT CARE IF ITS OVER £300!!!!! dnt let me down las min..n crash whe payments being processeed….wana scream that stressed.”

While another fan also revealed that he had spent four hours trying to buy tickets…

“errr 4hours now, got website and booked four tickets then website crashed.”

<<<THOUGHTS>>>

I really don’t begrudge Take That their recent successes. They seem to be a hard working band who are genuinely down to earth. The fact that Robbie Williams is returning to the line-up is obviously what has caused this rush for tickets so I just hope that between now and the start of the tour he keeps his head together and doesn’t do or say anything that will split the band up again.
