Director Reveals Direction He Plans To Take For The Manson Family Movie
Hollywood writer Scott Kosar has revealed that he will be directing the much-talked about biopic of the notorious Manson Family. It had previously been assumed that Kosar would just pen the script and that The Machinist director Brad Anderson would direct but now, according to Kosar himself, he has bagged himself the directorial duties. Talking to Shock Til You Drop, Kosar revealed…
“I will be making my directorial debut from a script I wrote,”
He then went on to stress that he won’t simply be making a slasher movie out of the source material and that his film will be…
“A movie about a surrogate family of wayward teenagers who, through extraordinary circumstances, came together and were transformed into the most notorious American family of the 20th century,”
<<<THOUGHTS>>>
This actually sounds like it could be a good movie. When I first heard about the project I figured we’d just get a movie that focused on the murder of Sharon Tate but after hearing the plans Kosar has for it, I’m really forward to it. It’s going to be really interesting to see how the family got together and how Manson was able to exert the control he did.
