Women could soon get the choice between taking contraceptive pills or applying a contraceptive gel for their birth control. A new gel is currently in its trial stages and early reports indicate it will be a safe alternative to the contraceptive pill. Shocking New Study Links Heavy Smoking To Dementia

A new study into the effects of heavy smoking has produced terrifying results. The study showed that smokers who have a 40-a-day habit are twice as likely to suffer from dementia than people who don’t. It had already been suggested that there is a link between smoking and Alzheimer’s but this new study, which used over 21,000 peoples medical records seems to add real data to support those claims.
