It is now official, everyone involved with M. Night Shyamalan’s The Happening, other than the director himself, admits that the movie was a pile of puke after lead actor Mark Wahlberg slammed the movie in a recent press conference.

Wahlberg was promoting his latest movie; The Fighter when he regaled the assembled press of the first time he met his co-star on The Fighter; Amy Adams…

“We had actually had the luxury of having lunch before to talk about another movie and it was a bad movie that I did. She dodged the bullet. And then I was still able to … I don’t want to tell you what movie … alright “The Happening.” Fuck it. It is what it is. Fucking trees, man. The plants. Fuck it. You can’t blame me for not wanting to try to play a science teacher. At least I wasn’t playing a cop or a crook.”

Nope, sorry Mark but you just don’t get to say The Happening was a bad movie and dump on it like everybody else. Thing is, you’re an A-Lister so that means you have some power to make changes or at the very least your career is solid enough that you don’t have to make those kind of movies.

By appearing in The Happening and not saying anything beforehand about how crappy it was means that you are just as delusional as Shyamalan.

You basically just admitted that you turned up for the pay check which means that you cheated your fans.
