Yoko Ono Praises Cher And Katie’s X Factor Performances
Yoko Ono has revealed that she enjoyed both Cher Lloyd and Katie Waissel’s performances on this weekend’s X-Factor.
The theme for this weekend’s show was The Beatles and saw Cher sing Imagine (I know…) while Waissel sung Help!
Through her Twitter account, Ono revealed…
“Cher & Katie – I watched you sing ‘Imagine’ and ‘Help!’ on X Factor and thought you were fantastic. A big hug to both of you, love Yoko.”
<<<THOUGHTS>>>
I must admit that this week’s Beatles theme worked really well for me. Other than Paije’s performance, I thoroughly enjoyed the show. My top three performances of the week went in this order…
- Cher Lloyd – BOTH performances
- One Direction – Their version of All You Need Is Love was absolutely inspired
- Matt Cardle – The start of his version of Come Together was a bit ropey but then he really kicked it up a gear.
Overall, as far as I am concerned, this past Saturday was Cher’s night and it was absolutely mind-blowing that she found herself in the bottom two. The only reason for this that I can think of is that after her stunning performance of Imagine, the UK public just assumed she’d be safe and spent their votes on someone else, someone who needed their protection.
