Fans Complain About Cheryl Cole Using X Factor To Settle Personal Scores

Apparently, over 200 complaints were made to the TV regulatory body Ofcom after X-Factor fans complained about Cheryl Cole’s attack on X-Factor contestant Wagner for making disparaging remarks about her to an undercover reporter.

On Saturday night’s show, Cole picked up Wagner on live TV for apparently saying that Cole was nothing but a…

‘Girl from a council estate who got lucky’.

Cole responded to his remarks by saying…

‘I am very proud of my roots and I am very, very, lucky. But if I was to give you any constructive advice it would be don’t focus on everybody else or how lucky I am, but how lucky you are to be on that stage tonight.’

<<<THOUGHTS>>>

Was Cheryl Cole right to bring up Wagner’s comments when she was supposed to be critiquing his performance?

Well, no, but then, he shouldn’t have said what he did. Think about it for a second, he claims that he didn’t know that the person he made the comments to was an undercover reporter, surely then, that’s worse?

I mean, it’s one thing to make a grab for headlines by saying something controversial but to say what he said when he thought there was no personal gain to be had means that he really meant it.
