The Lone Ranger Movie Gets Pirates Of The Caribbean Director
Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski has signed on to direct Disney’s The Lone Ranger movie.
Verbinski will team up once again with former Pirates collaborator Johnny Depp who has been attached to the project for what seems like an eternity.
Johnny Depp is attached to play the Lone Ranger’s sidekick Tonto and as of right now, there have been no solid leads on who will actually play the Lone Ranger.
As for release dates well, I suppose we’ve got to be looking at a 2013 release date though it could be earlier if things come together pretty quickly.
<<<THOUGHTS>>>
I really don’t care about this project. To me it’s just another Zorro movie and they were absolutely awful in my opinion. I’d rather be dragged through a town by a horse then sit through a Johnny Depp-starring Lone Ranger movie.
Seriously, just where is the demand for this movie coming from?
