Axl Rose Is Taking On The Might Of Activision

Rock legend Axl Rose is suing video game publisher Activision. Apparently, Rose is looking for twenty million dollars. So, the question is, why?

As usual it has something to do with Slash. Basically Rose isn’t happy that Slash was on the cover for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and that one of the biggest songs in the game was Welcome to the Jungle. He claims that Activision fraudulently secured the rights to WTTJ by promising that they would not make reference to Slash and then only went and put him on the box art or at least that’s my understanding of it anyway…

Here’s what Axl Rose’s lawyer had to say about it all…

“This lawsuit is about protecting Guns N’ Roses and ‘Welcome to the Jungle,’ and is about holding Activision accountable for its misuse of these incredibly valuable assets. The relief we are seeking is disgorgement of profits and compensatory and punitive damages.”

<<<THOUGHTS>>>

This is pretty funny actually. Axl Rose really hates Slash doesn’t he?
