It seems that Mark Wahlberg is in the press a lot lately. He’s doing the publicity rounds for The Fighter and instead of focusing on that movie, the press seems intent on asking him about other projects.

First they asked him why the hell did he sign up for The Happening. Then they asked him about those pesky Crow reboot rumours and now they’re asking him about the Uncharted movie. Yep, that’s right, the Uncharted movie.

MTV asked Wahlberg if he was attached to the project and Wahlberg replied with…

“David is writing now. David is one of the best writer/directors I’ve ever worked with and the idea he has is just insane. So hopefully we’ll be making that movie this summer.”

No, no, no, no, no! I want Serenity’s Nathan Fillion to play Nathan Drake. Seriously, who actually sees Mark Wahlberg as Nathan Drake? Show me one example from Wahlberg’s filmography that shows that he is suitable Drake material.
