Guess what folks? Xbox Live is free this weekend. From today until midnight on Sunday, Xbox 360 owners who don’t have an Xbox Live Gold Account will be able to play online multiplayer and access all the premium features of Xbox Live.

All you need to do is pop on your Xbox 360 and visit the Spotlight section and BAM! You’re in.

I haven’t been a gold subscriber for about a year now and do you know what? I haven’t missed it at all. Well, I didn’t until I picked up Bad Company 2 from a boot sale last weekend, now I just want to jump in and experience some of that Bad Company 2 goodness I have been hearing so much about. This offer has come at the perfect time for me and who knows, if Bad Company 2 multiplayer is as good as I’m hearing then I see myself upgrading my Xbox Live account.
