During an appearance on Loose Women, Shaun of the Dead star Simon Pegg praised fellow Mission Impossible 4 star Tom Cruise for his fearlessness on the set of the action blockbuster.

Pegg admitted that he was really impressed with the bravery that Cruise showed when he was performing a death-defying stunt at the top of the Burj Khalif Tower in Dubai…

“I was there watching him doing it, which was terrifying, because it was like being in a plane. It was at the] top of the building. It’s extraordinary, and he has no fear. He just looked out and looked back in with a big smile on his face, like, ‘Here we go!’ And he was running round the side.”

Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol is scheduled to hit cinemas on 16th December, 2011.

I suppose it’s easy to be brave when you are insured for millions and millions.? You can be safe in the knowledge that there is no way in hell that a studio would put their top star in a position where he could hurt himself. There’s the stunts that the stuntmen perform and then there’s the stunts that the stars perform. Do not confuse to the two.
