It seems that Capcom are getting ready to reveal a brand new Resident Evil game at next month’s annual Spike Video Game Awards. The speculation comes from a video trailer for the event which shows a biohazard logo accompanied by zombie imagery.

Web magazine Gamezine suggests that the zombie imagery from the trailer matches that which is printed on an official Resident Evil T-Shit.

Either way, we’ll find out on December 11th.

Oh please, please be true. It’s about time we had a new Resident Evil game. The timing is perfect for a brand new Zombie adventure as come February it will have been two years since Resident Evil 5 was released. I’ll be disappointed if Capcom reveal a handheld version or some crappy spinoff. I want Resident Evil 6.

Hopefully next time around we’ll be able to run and gun, that would be nice wouldn’t it?
