24 star Kiefer Sutherland (he also starred in my favourite 80s movie Flatliners btw…) has revealed that it was an “eye-opener” for him when he recently watched the previous seasons of the hit show 24.

Sutherland, who played Jack Bauer in the recently cancelled show admitted that he was shocked at how much he has aged since the first season which aired back in 2001. Sutherland was talking to Empire…

“Our ageing is documented through the show – it’s a bit of an eye-opener. Though if you actually do the math, Jack Bauer is now about 85 years old! We’re putting a documentary together, so I sat down with Rodney Charters, the cinematographer, to look at behind-the-scenes footage from the last eight years. We were laughing, then it got to stuff from the later seasons and it wasn’t funny anymore.”

I already miss 24. Sure it got cheesy but knowing that there won’t be a new season next year makes me sad. What about a CTU spinoff?
