LittleBigPlanet 2 Gets Official Release Date
Media Molecule, the developer of the awesome LittleBigPlanet has officially announced that the heavily anticipated sequel (which we should already be playing BTW) will finally be released on January 18th in the US while the rest of us here in the UK will have to wait a full 3 days until the 21st to get our hand on LittleBigPlanet 2.
If you can’t wait that long, maybe the new story demo that Sony released on the PSN will scratch that itch for you?
Go check it out.
<<<THOUGHTS>>>
If LittleBigPlanet 2 is going to be on the shelves in a few weeks time that says to me that Media Molecule could have got it out in time for Christmas. I was devastated when they originally pushed it back.
Thing is, come January 21st, I’m just not going to be in the position to be able to buy it as for the first two months of every year I tighten my belt and recover financially from the Christmas craziness.
I don’t like this new trend of Triple A titles missing the holiday season completely and being released in the first two months of the year.
Still, one good thing about that is that when I finally get around to buying the games in March/April they’re usually pretty cheap by then or, there’s loads of copies in the ‘Pre-Owned’ section.
