Hollywood action star Vin Diesel has been talking about the next instalment in the Chronicles of Riddick movie franchise on his Facebook page and revealed that The Chronicles of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking will present him with a challenge when it comes to filming as his role will require him to drastically alter his physique…

“[M]y partner on [The Chronicles Of Riddick] since the beginning, [David Twohy]… has a new challenge in store. He wants me to have three different body looks for this next chapter. There is the DiNorscio type, the Dom type, and the lean Furyan type… but all in the same movie, haha… When it comes to art, we all like a challenge.”

Urrggghh, still can’t get my head around the subtitle; “Dead Man Stalking.” I bet they thought it was clever when they came up with that one.

After the last Riddick movie I don’t trust Vin Diesel and David Twohy to not get pretentious on us again. All we want is Pitch Black 2 but I’m afraid that their egos won’t allow them to deliver a mindless action flick anymore, nope, what we’re going to get are elements of Pitch Black but with loads of mythology shoehorned in for no good reason other than for Diesel and Twohy to show us they’re clever.
