In a refreshing change of tone for an A-Lister celebrity, actor Jack Black has admitted that unlike his fellow celebs who criticize their fame, he actually embraces it.

In an interview with The Sun, Black, who was promoting his latest movie Gulliver’s Travels admitted that he gets a kick out of being famous and like his character in the movie, his ego has turned into a giant…

“I don’t know that I feel like a giant but I am definitely aware that I have lost my anonymity. It’s an ego boost getting noticed. My ego is definitely a giant.”

Strangely, the interview then turned to the time when he was a ten year old kid and lied about losing his virginity just to claim bragging rights among his pals.

That’s what I have always loved about Jack Black, you really get the impression that he loves his job. Unlike people like Russell Crowe who constantly complain about fame even though they’re obviously addicted to it, Jack Black embraces his celebrity status and genuinely looks like he’s “living the dream.”
