Mad Men star Christina Hendricks is hoping that she gets considered for the role of Wonder Woman in the planned reboot of the 70’s super heroine TV show.

During an appearance on the talk show Rachel Ray, Hendricks was asked to comment on the rumours that she is up for the role of Princess Diana when she replied…

“I heard that rumour too – I don’t know where it got started but I love it!” she said when asked about reports of her playing the comic book character. “I’ve been wanting to wear that outfit my whole life! I’d love to [do it]. That would be such fun. Let’s put it out there!”

This is awkward, um, Christina, love, please don’t force this one through as while you’re an amazing actress, um, how do I say this?

I’m just going to blurt it….

You’re not Wonder Woman material.

There, it’s out there. Look, I’m not trying to be horrible here but the role of Wonder Woman should be given to someone more, um, athletic? Yeah, athletic. You know; Amazonian?

Basically everything you’re not is what I’m trying to say.
