Hollywood actress Denise Richards has had to reassure fans of her ex-husband Charlie Sheen that he has NOT died in a snowboarding accident after reports of his death began to appear over the Internet this Christmas.

Richards tweeted…

“The rumour about Charlie Sheen is not true. He is alive and on his way over to see his daughters. Thank u all your concern [sic].”

At this moment in time, no one knows where the rumours started but for the entire holiday weekend, talk of his death filled numerous social networking sites.

Wow, it amazes me how quickly these kind of things can get out of hand. I saw the tweets on Twitter when it was all going off but for me, they just didn’t seem plausible. I mean, Charlie Sheen crashing into a tree while snowboarding seems very Two and a Half Men to me.

If you’re going for believable, try something overdose related, accidental or otherwise not a snowboarding accident into a tree…

Perhaps whoever started this rumour was going for outlandish just to make fun of how gullible we all are?
