Playboy, um, playboy Hugh Hefner has revealed via his Twitter account that he is to get married to Playboy “playmate” Crystal Harris.

Hefner is 84 years old while his fiancé is 24. Hef announced the engagement on Christmas Eve when he tweeted…

“When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears. This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory,”

He has been married twice before. His first marriage to Mildred Williams ended in 1959 while his second, to Kimberley Conrad ended earlier this year.

His wife-to-be Crystal Harris was the ‘Playmate of the Month’ last December.

No news yet on when the pair will tie the knot.

Um, call me cynical but…

I’m actually not going to finish that sentence. I say good luck to him. At 84 years old I’m pretty sure Hefner knows what he is getting into and with what type of person he’s getting into it with so who am I to point out the obvious?

If I was 84 and somehow I was able to attract the attention of someone like Crystal Harris then you’d better believe that I’d be doing exactly what Hugh is doing.

The only surprising thing in all this for me is that an 84 year old knows how to use Twitter.
