Simon Cowell Judges Holiday Karaoke Competition

According to a Christmas holiday maker, X-Factor boss Simon Cowell spent Christmas Day judging a karaoke competition at the Sandy Lane resort in Barbados.

Cowell, who was on holiday with his fiancé and a couple of his ex-girlfriends (which included Sinitta) judged the casual karaoke session and according to one eye-witness, was at his crushing best.

The source told The Mirror…

“Simon really got into character and came out with some brilliant, crushing comments – but everybody was impersonating him and making their best catty comments about each other too,”

Cowell even had some scathing comments for Sinitta…

“When Sinitta sang, he told her she sounded like a ‘fire going off in a pet shop’ because she was so squawky.”

And for his fiancé Mezhgan Hussainy…

“He had a wry smile throughout her performance and when she finished, he said, ‘I didn’t like that – I loved it!’ Mezhgan went bright pink as everyone wolf-whistled!”

<<<THOUGHTS>>>

Imagine the scene. You’re on holiday with your family and after much encouragement you finally pluck up the courage to get up on stage and have a go at the old karaoke. You don’t normally do this kind of thing as you are aware that your voice wasn’t made for singing but what the hell, you’re on holiday and you’re having fun.

After all, it’s not like you’re getting judged is it? You’re on holiday and it’s just a bit of fun.

Anyway, you finish your wobbly rendition of Bryan Adams’ ‘Summer of 69’ when you look up at the crowd and everyone is looking at Simon Cowell who you didn’t even know was there.

Yes, Simon Cowell!

And he looks like he’s about to share with the crowd his opinion on your performance.
