The long-talked-about Total Recall reboot is set to go into production next March.

Yep, after what seems like years of rumours we are finally going to be getting a remake of the 1990 sci-fi classic which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The Total Recall reboot will be directed by Underworld director Len Wiseman. At this moment in time it is thought that the lead role has been offered to Daredevil star Colin Farrell and has a 200 million dollar budget. The original Total Recall cost 50 million dollars to make.

Total Recall is expected to be released in 2012.

I can’t see a two hundred million dollar sci-fi reboot being headlined by Colin Farrell. If the Total Recall reboot had a smaller budget then yeah, I can see them opting for a Colin Farrell type but I can’t see the studio wanting someone as polarizing as Farrell headlining their two hundred million dollar movie.
