Johnny Depp Admits Captain Jack Sparrow Will Always Be A Part Of Him
Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp has, in an interview with Parade, revealed that he loves reprising the Captain Jack Sparrow role as he feels a strong connection to the character and admitted that wherever his career goes from here, Captain Jack will always be a big part of him…
“Captain Jack is always going to be a part of me. I like going back to him and seeing what we can cook up. It’s tougher to play someone like my character in The Tourist. I have the most fun when I can hide behind wigs or hats or make-up.”
Depp first played Captain Jack Sparrow in the original Pirates of the Caribbean movie back in 2003 and since then, has played the character three more times with the most recent time being for the fourth Pirates movie; On Stranger Tides which is scheduled to hit cinemas on May 18th.
