Duke Nukem Forever Finally Gets A Release Date
The video game that many industry insiders expected to never see has finally been given a release date.
Yep, Duke Nukem Forever is coming to a video game console near you folks.
In an interview with Game Informer, Gearbox Software revealed that Duke Nukem Forever will be released on May 3rd for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Duke Nukem Forever project, it was first announced by then-developers 3D Realms 14 years ago back in 1997 and has since then remained trapped in development hell. Many thought the game would never get a release date, especially after the project was officially scrapped back in 2009 but since then, 2K Games have swooped in a resurrected the troubled game.
So, the game that many of us thought we would never see is finally on our doorsteps. Forgive my pessimism but this writer won’t believe it’s actually made until the disc is sitting in my Xbox 360 tray.
