Metal Gear Solid Trilogy HD Headed For PS3?
According to the latest issue of the Official Playstation Magazine, the first three Metal Gear Solid video games are to get the HD treatment in much the same way the recent Prince of Persia trilogy did.
Metal Gear Solid, originally released on the Playstation One while its two sequels Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater were released for Playstation 2 (Metal Gear Solid 2 appeared on the original Xbox in the form of Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance)
At this moment in time both Sony and Konami have yet to confirm the existence of the project but it is thought that it is only a matter of time before one of them makes the announcement.
The question everyone is asking right now is whether or not Metal Gear Solid Trilogy HD will get a retail disc-based release or be an exclusive downloadable title for the PSN.
